Welcome to the homepage of Davenport's Men In Royal, Smallwick's premier football team, and a pioneering footballing nation on Vexillium. Football in Davenport has simmered along nicely for the last few years, and the team has had success abroad, claming third place in the WHCON of 298, and making the Quarter Finals of 298's VexCup. The Men in Royal are looking to improve their successful run by improving their position in the VexCup, and aim to cement a top 10 position in the IVEFA rankings by the year's end. Which shows the strength of football at home. Playing in the Summer, the Davenport League provides a welcome source of entertainment for hockey fans, who otherwise would spend their summers watching old hockey games or substandard games from obscure countries in the Northern Hemisphere.
Now with the heavier monitoring of football in Davenport, we seek to improve on our percentages, and to become a more professional nation. The Davenport League should assist in this outcome. It would be a dream come true for Davenport to hold both the Hockey and Football world titles in the one year!
