LAW NIPPED IN BUD?

MAPLE RIDGE, B.C. --  A woman who wants to swim topless at a local pool says she'll sue the pants off the municipality if she's arrested.
Linda Meyer plans to go topless at a public pool on Canada Day, despite a new bylaw in the Vancouver suburb that requires women to cover their nipples.
She says the law is unconstitutional because it discriminates between men and women.
"What the bylaw says, it says that the breast is legal, the nipple isn't," Meyer said. "So if my nipple is illegal so is yours."
Meyer said if she's arrested she'll sue Maple Ridge for $245 million -- which she says is the value of the community's assets.
Mayor Carl Durksen said the bylaw is an attempt to make facilities as tasteful as possible.
