WHEN BUYING clothes in Edmonton, a female clerk who was assisting in fitting
a shirt I was trying on reached out and smoothed the material on the chest of the
shirt. Personally I did not find it sexual, assaulting or offensive. I have read
with interest the court cases, first in Ontario and now in Saskatchewan, allowing
topless females in public. I'm not sure I support or reject the decision but I do
wonder, now that men and women are apparently equal from the waist up, what will
be the response when some male clerk smooths the cloth on the chest of a female
customer?
