TOPLESS A NO-NO

TORONTO -- A Mississauga woman wants to redress Ontario's topless law.
Pam Ayers, 32, has launched a petition against the Ontario Court of Appeal ruling that it's legal for women to bare their breasts in public as long as it isn't for commercial purposes.
"We have to think of the morals of our children," said Ayers as she and friends collected signatures outside a convenience store yesterday to send to the federal Justice Department.
Ayers said she's not against women going topless, but it should be restricted to "designated areas.
"If we have designated areas for smoking then why not the same for being topless?" she asked.
Bare-chested Don MacGillivary, 23, signed, saying he's OK with topless women at the beach, "but not on the streets."
Ontario Premier Mike Harris this week said toplessness is fine on a beach but not on the streets.
But Ontario Solicitor General Bob Runciman says he's not ordering police to act unless the situation gets out of hand.
Cops went to an Etobicoke strip club on Monday when four dancers sunbathed topless outside. Two women gave a repeat performance yesterday.
Toronto city Coun. Chris Korwin-Kuczynski warned yesterday that topless women are a traffic hazard.
