`TOPLESS' TEAM CREATES STIR

People who showed up at yesterday's HOPE volleyball tournament looking for topless players got more than they bargained for.
"I was going to say it was to make a philosophical statement, but that's not it at all," said Brad Drader, whose volleyball team turned a lot of heads yesterday at Mooney's Bay Beach. "We wanted to be oggled and we have been."
Drader and his rest of his team, "Vegas Slots" went Halloween shopping before the tournament and came up big.
Each guy on the team donned a set of fake breasts, while the two women fixed plastic male anatomy between their legs.
"We did it to be sort of stupid," said Drader. "But theirs are just plain ugly."
While the men on the team said they fastened on the fakies to "fit it with the scenery," they were just about the only spectacle on the beach -- other than 79 games of beach volleyball.
Organizers of the beach volleyball extravaganza thought the curious would flock to the tournament when rumors spread a women's team would play topless.
A few women dropped their bikini tops, but not on the volleyball courts.
