AS USUAL the Sun's Christie Blatchford (Sun, July 12) has the sensible last word on the absurd brouhaha over (gasp!) nudity in the Gay Pride parade. She says, "I am offended by those who are offended by gay men, naked or otherwise." This is not the Santa Claus parade or the squeaky-clean CHIN Picnic (with its acres of wholesome young flesh); spectators would do well to recognize the unique gay ethic, on the gays' home turf, on their annual special day and either like it or leave it. If there was ever an attempt to ban this event, officials would soon be astounded to discover how potent all those limp wrists can be.
