Thank you to the members of CEP local 298

To the editor,

The strike at the Fletcher Challenge pulp mill is entering its 24th week and Christmas is rapidly approaching. The membership of CEP Local 1092 would like to take this opportunity to thank the members of CEP Local 298 for their generous donations towards our strike fund. It is with the support of union brothers and sisters such as you that will bring this dispute to a successful conclusion On behalf of the Executive Board and all the members of CEP Local 1092 in Mackenzie B.C. we wish everybody a Joyous Christmas and Happy New Year.
John Moore, Recording Secretary CEP local 1092

Greetings from Alberta

To the editor,

I phoned the union hall a few weeks ago and spoke to Pat and thanked her and the executive for sending the newsletter. I find it very stimulating and recognize many names on the executive and committees list. It is enjoyed by many here (Peace River Alberta) as they like to know what is happening in B.C. I am hoping to visit Kitimat sometime and will visit the hall. Also I intend to retire for sure this time. I've done enough start-ups. I wish you all a merry Christmas and better things for the New Year and the strike to be resolved and get back to normal. All the best,
Charlie Law
