Mitchell's Musings
by Laura Remson Mitchell
I have set up this page so that I can share some thoughts I have had
on a range of topics. You can accept them or reject them, but I hope
you will at least think about them.
On Activism

On Managed Health Care
(Mitchell's Corollary )

field between health plans, the bad plans will drive the good plans out
of business.

On Physician-Assisted
Suicide

of the iceberg look very attractive, but what lies hidden beneath the water
line nevertheless will sink our Titanic health-care system — and those
who need care the most.

On Trying to Please Employers
(Catch-55)
When you're young, employers say
you don't have enough experience. So you work hard and find ways
to get the experience they told you they want. Result: Employers
look at all that experience — and conclude that you're too old!
