Introduction
Welcome to our Text Collection. What this is all about? We got the idea
for this from our biography page of Gandhi.
This site was a great success for us and we got a lot of supporting mail.
Most people usually visit this site for a research project for college
or school or similar reasons. Maybe even you were there for this reason
too. So we thought to ask you to send us
your finished papers that you wrote about Mahatma Gandhi, Nonviolence,
India or related subjects. We want to present them online for other people
to help them with their research such as our site hopefully helped
yours.
How
to contribute texts to this Collection
It would be really great if you want to contribute your paper to this
Gandhi Text Collection too, for this Collection lives simply by your share.
You will still have all copyrights of your written text (you only have
to give us permission to post it online).
We accept the paper in every language. We can translate German and French
(not soooo good) papers, but if somebody feels like translating another
language for us, that would be greatly appreciated. The easiest way for
us would be a Word-File, PDF-FIle or Simple Text or just drag and drop
it from your text editor into your e-mail program. Please also state if
you want your name and/or your e-mail address (maybe even website) to
appear.
If possible, we would like to hear from your grade you received for this
paper, comments from the teacher and, very important, sources as
well.
Our e-mail address is loepaberlin@gmx.net.
Comments, ideas or other stuff can be sent to this address as well.
Remember: This site depends on you! Do not just consume!
Interact!
If
you want to steal a text
Some might think that this will be a perfect place to simply copy a already
written paper and pass it out as your own. But remember: teachers visit
this site as well and plagiarism is not an easy offense in your school
records! It is very likely that your teacher already knows this site.
The idea of publishing the texts online is not to make you goof around
that you do not have to learn anything about Gandhi. No, it is meant as
a tool to give you more information on the subject without having to look
for it a great deal. Always state your source of the information
you gathered correctly, because otherwise is it nothing else than plagiarism!
Please always state the internet address and the information given below
each single text ("Copyright, sources and comments"). That should include
the authors name, date, and, if given, The copyright still has the author,
and copying his/her text would also mean a violation of the copyright
laws!
Mistakes,
misprints and responsibility
We try to check each text we get for spelling mistakes, biographical errors
or wrong facts and dates. Spelling mistakes get corrected without notice,
biographical errors or others will be noted at the bottom of the text.
However, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of each word written by the
authors.
If you find a wrong fact or think that something is not quite right, please
e-mail us (loepaberlin@gmx.net).
Thanks.
