The Ontario government keeps ramming into law changes that Ontarians didn't vote for, so the Ontario Federation of Labour (OFL) and its member unions are creating an opportunity for Ontarians to turn things around. The 'Didn't Vote for That' campaign is urging people to contact Premier Mike Harris and their MPPs and tell them what they think of the government ramming through hurtful changes without listening to the people who are effected by them.Activists will meet in 11 towns and cities across the province over the next two weeks to plan how to give people a real say in likely changes to labour law. The changes would allow employers to make people work 80-hour weeks, take vacation a day at a time, and work longer for lest money because of changes to overtime rules.
