Kingston:
Free advice and direction for injured workers and their representatives and help to get WSIB / WCB claims back on track will be offered to eastern Ontario area residents at the Steelworkers Hall on Tuesday March 23, 1999.
The Occupational Health Clinics for Ontario Workers and the WCB Project of the Ontario Federation of Labour, in cooperation with the Kingston & District Labour Council and the Greater Kingston Area Injured Workers Association will sponsor the all day drop-in workshop at the Steelworkers Hall at 208 Concession St., Kingston.
Injured workers are invited to bring questions, workers compensation decisions and files to the experienced representatives and medical professionals on hand and available to help from 10 A.M. to 6 P.M.
Assistance will also be offered to Health & Safety Representatives and anyone who help injured workers with their claims. Medical professionals from the Occupational Health Clinics for Ontario Workers will be available to talk to injured workers and their representatives on how the clinic can assist with diagnosis of workplace occupational disease and injury. Free Workshops at 10 A.M., 2 P.M. and 4 P.M. will be provided for WSIB/WCB advocates and health & safety representatives to help them in the efforts to assist injured workers. The WCB Project of the Ontario Federation of Labour trains representatives from around the province help injured workers.
