Title Author Description / Information. Order Here!
2001 A Space Odyssey Arthur C. Clark The Grandaddy of Science Fiction. The book is better than the movie, you learn much more about what happens to Bowman and HAL. Order Me Now
Atlas Shrugged Ayn Rand Ayn Rand's story of the world's most creative people, the society that held them hostage to their superior abilities, and a man who said no! Ayn Rand wrote this decades ago as an extreme view of liberalism. It now looks like prophecy. A long read but worth it. Order Me Now
A Basic History Of The U.S. Clarence B. Carson A multi-book series covering American History from the Colonial period until the Great Society (I prefer to call it the Great Mistake).
Bible God & Company You can't argue with the wisdom regardless of your beliefs. Order Me Now
Declaration of Independence Jefferson & Company Like the U.S. Constitution, it's much simpler to understand than you might think. It'll help you discover why people revolt against their government. Order Me Now
Dune Frank Herbert The chronicles of a desert planet (Dune) where water is the most precious commodity, and the only export is the "Spice" found only on this single planet and which gives the user extended life and increased mental faculties. The freedom of its populace from an enslaving Baron hinges on the son of a new Duke predicted in the prophetic words of the fremen religion. There are overtones of Middle East culture and the significance of oil in our current culture throughout this book. Order Me Now
Federalist Papers Madison, Jay, Hamilton This is heavy reading but worth the effort. There is far less room for argument about what the Founding Fathers meant after you read this. Order Me Now
Executive Orders Tom Clancey The latest in an ongoing series of stories about Jack Ryan. Ryan, a former Marine, college professor, CIA Analyst, and hero of the Hunt for Red October finds himself accepting an appointment to Vice-President just before a horrific attack which kills most of the leadership of our country at the State of the Union address. Ryan, now a reluctant President with no Congress must deal with attacks from within his own country and without. A very good story. If the real President can't have the character and morals most Americans want then we can, at the very least, have them in this book. Order Me Now
Debt Of Honor / Executive Orders Tom Clancey This book, immediately preceeding Executive Orders, centers on Jack Ryan, college professor, CIA Analyst, and hero of the Hunt for Red October. Debt Of Honor is combined with the former to create a fantastic two box set. Executive Orders is fully appreciated if Debt Of Honor is read as a prologue. Of course, you'll wind up getting hooked like I did and want to read the whole series of books around the characters in these books - Just like I did! Order Me Now
FailSafe Eugene Bordick & Harvey Miller What if our Nuclear Strike Failsafe system failed? This is a story about such a supposed failure and the skill, faith, and sacrifice it might take to avoid an accidental WWIII. Although it's a little anti-military it is an exciting story.
Foundation Series Issac Asimov A Science Fiction epic. You'll be amazed at how differently you look at international politics and the subtle things that affect history. Order Me Now
The Fountainhead Ayn Rand Ayn Rand's story about an architect who would not compromise his creative vision, beliefs, and principles to a world of second-handers. Order Me Now
Julius Ceaser William Shakespeare Working through the, now nearly forgotten, dialect of this story is a little work but worth the effort. If you've ever said "It's Greek to me" you'll learn where it came from! The oratories are very instructive and informative. Order Me Now
See, I Told You So Rush Limbaugh The radio personality pontificates on himself, radio, and (of course) politics with great skill and flair. Order Me Now
The Way Things Ought To Be Rush Limbaugh The radio personality pontificates on himself, radio, and (of course) politics with great skill and flair. Order Me Now
Unlimited Access Gary Aldrich What a career civil servant and lifetime FBI Agent assigned to the Whitehouse saw and heard while at the Whitehouse. It was bad enough for him to quit. I had the luck to have lunch with the man during an event in my hometown. I can tell you that he's a quiet and unassuming gentleman acting because of his distaste for the disrepect to the American people he witnessed while at the Whitehouse. Order Me Now
U.S. Constitution See Document This document is not nearly as difficult to understand as many folks think. You can read the whole thing during your lunch break. Order Me Now
