Louie Aguiar, P, Barcelona 1991 Aguiar was the first punter selected in the kicker draft in 1991. Averaged 41.4 yards per punt. Currently kicks for the Kansas City Chiefs.
Phil Alexander, K, London 1991-1992 A native of London, Alexander made the All-World Team in 1991 as a Operation Discovery player. In 91 he led all kickers in scoring with 64 points. He attended training camps for the Chicago Bears and Dallas Cowboys.
Dave Archer, QB, Sacramento 1992 Archer brought NFL experience from the Atlanta Falcons, San Diego Chargers, and Philadelphia Eagles to the Surge in 1992. Archer turned around the Surge from a poor team in 91 to a championship team in 92. After the WLAF disbanded, Archer spent time in the CFL with the Sacramento Gold Miners and then the San Antonio Texans. When those teams folded, he played for Ottawa. He has since retired and moved into the broadcast booth.
Damon Baldwin, OL, London 1991, NY/NJ 1992 Baldwin was the starting right guard in New York-New Jersey in 1992. After spending the 1993 season with the Los Angeles Raiders. Returned to WLAF in 1995 and played for the Monarchs in 95 and 96 before retiring to become offensive line coach for his Alma Mater, San Diego State.
Tony Baker, RB, Frankfurt 1991-1992 Baker led the league in yards from scrimmage in 1991 after being the number 1 pick in the WLAF draft. Prior to the WLAF, Baker spent time with Atlanta, Cleveland, and Phoenix.
Kenny Bell, RB, Birmingham 1991-1992 Bell led the Fire in receptions in 1991 with 40 catches. Played four years with the Denver Broncos.

John Brantley, LB, Birmingham 1991-1992 Shared the defensive MVP award in 1991. Earned first team All-World League honors the same year. 40 of his 47 tackles in 1991 were solo tackles.
Eddie Brown, WR, Sacramento 1992 Dave Archer's goto guy, he became the only WR get over 1,000 yards in the league. Led the league with 12 TDs in 92.
John Buddenberg, G, Sacramento 1992 Buddenberg anchored Sacramento's line in 1992 during their championship season. He was an All World selection.
Cornell Burbage, WR, New York-New Jersey 1991-1992 Burbage, a first round selection for the Knights in 91, caught 22 passes for 419 yards in 1991 as a part of Mouse Davis' run and shoot offense.
