Chelsea 1-0 Southampton

Please - no more of this torture..

This game was a display of such ineptitude that for a while I was convinced they were doing it on purpose as a sort of grim test of the fans' loyalty, but with hindsight I see that this wasn't the case. They really couldn't help it.

I can't be bothered to waste time with a long report into the whys and wherefores of why this game was so bad, because I've suffered enough already, so I'll keep it mercifully short.

The game started. After a while we scored a goal (the only good thing that happened). Then came half time. Then the second half started. Half way through, my mate Nobby fell asleep and snored loudly till the rest of us giggling woke him up. The game finished. Hooray.

The only positive thing to come out of this debacle was the fact that we managed to get three points, and we only got them because Southampton were worse, if anything, than us. Why was Mark Hughes playing so deep ? Bloody lucky if you ask me. We'd have been slaughtered if he'd been playing up front.

What do YOU think ? Want to add your point of view ? Here's your chance to send me some feedback.
