Jake rushed Jerry Lawler at the start of the show, but Jake was all but done after that. The Sultan (Fatu) was in control most of the match, but when Jake finally mounted some offence Lawler distracted Jake. The Sultan then applied the Camel Clutch for the W.

The Pres. says that he has no idea what Ross is talking about, and Nash & Hall are NOT coming to the WWF. Ross still insists that Hall & Nash WILL return. (Gorilla came back during the Hart/Mero match, and Ross and Gorilla verbally fought)
In a nutshell Jim said that Vader has been training him, and he would take on Tony Williams. Jim showed of a few basics just have Tony reverse the hold. Needless to say Vader jumped in. Vader and Jim then tied the poor jobber into the ropes and Cornett relentlessly slapped him... Cut to commercial.
Bret Hart said after the event: Brian Pillman and Owen were both liars. He went on to say that he just didn't know if he would return.
GREAT TECH. MATCH UP!!!!!! This was clearly the WWF's best of it's high flyers! The action spilt out twice when Owen clocked Mero with the cast, and also when Owen went over the top rope. (Mero followed with his flip over the top rope.) When Owen got back to the ring he dug in his tights for something. Owen missed, I guess, and Mero took Owen's head off w/the F.O. (Might have just been the cast)
--PS: Sorry, I took a Nitro during the Owen F.O. grab. I did see Mero drop him like a rock though.
OK POWER MATCH UP. Lots of powerslams, clothslines, no sells, and punches. Sid did a GREAT flip over for a big man when Farooq went for the Tiger ?????. Sid follwed w/ a chokeslam. Later in the match Farooq laid Sid out w/a chair. Sid then got himself DQed when he laid into Farooq w/that same chair.

Final words about the Final Curtain match w/the Taker: UT said we would see the new Taker????
Mankind got to end the show though. He gave the line of the night when he said " If I win the title will that make me a sexy boy?" (Then Silks Stalkings came on directly after the sexy boy thing. BAD MENTAL PICTURE!!!!)

I thought it was a much better show than the last two Raws, but it still isn't up to WWF's usual standards.
