Trip as
an exchanged
student to Japan
I went to the
Japan trip this spring from March 7 ~ 18, 1998.
I was there as an exchanged student for a week. There were 26
students from my school went to the trip. On our first two days of the
trip we visited Tokyo. It's a HUGE city and the sky looked so dirty from
Tokyo Tower... People were everywhere! Then we took the Japanese
bullet train, Name? (I forgot...) to Toyohashi. I went to a small town
called
Otowa which is right beside Toyohashi. Students actually went to
junior high schools there, however, most student went to this trip are
senior students. So basically most students got a younger host, including
me. Luckily, we didn't feel any age gap or something. We experienced
many Japanese culture stuffs. I'd been Japan twice before this trip,
and this time was totally different than the trips i went before. I had
the
opportunity to actually live in an ordinary Japanese family, and went
to school with an ordinary Japanese junior high school student. This picture
was taken in front a school we visited, and i was sooo stupid that i forgot
to take a photo in front of the school i went, Otawa Junior High. This
school
is called Kozakai Junior High. Luckily i also had the chance to see the
guy
whom i hosted last fall. Anyway, I had a great time there!
