28th Annual Columbia Junior Open Tennis Tournament Another Smashing Success!The Howard County Tennis Association's 28th Annual Columbia Junior Open Tennis Tournament was recently held at the Wilde Lake Tennis Club from July 14 - 16, 2008 for girls and boys in the 12-18 age categories. This year, we had a total of 113 entries this year and were proud to recognize Howard County's own Ryan Kent for his superb showing as a finalist in the Boys 18s Singles championship. We would like to express our appreciation to the parents, players, USTA officials, tournament committee, and sponsors for making this event such a success. As the only USTA sanctioned tournament for juniors in Howard County, we look forward to putting on this event again this year, which is scheduled from July 13 - 16, 2009 at the Wilde Lake Tennis Club, Columbia, MD. HCTA's 2009 Spring Outdoor Program Starting May 18, 2009!The Howard County Tennis Association (HCTA) is pleased to announce its 2009 Spring Outdoor Program scheduled to run from Monday, May 18th through Saturday, June 13th for certain ages and skill levels! You also have various times and locations to choose from, so come on out and HAVE FUN!!
