OK, a bit late again. On Saturday, Bracknell went to Manchester in the Expresso Cup, but that's all I want to say about it... OK, OK, we were gubbed, 10-2! In an absolutely terrible performance, none of the team seemed to even care, as we were steamrollered by the Storm.
A much better team-game on Sunday saw the Bees just hold on to both points away at Sheffield, again in the Expresso Cup. Having gone 4-0 up after 23 minutes, Sheffield proceeded to pull it back, leveling to 5-5 on the 56th minute. However, a great goal from Jeff Johnstone shortly afterwards was just enough for the win.
Tonight, Bees play the Bison at home, once more in the Expresso Cup.

Bees lost their second match of the weekend's double-header, being trounced 6-0 in Ayr.
However, they made up for this tonight, beating Manchester 5-4 t home. They were made to work for it, though. Leading 5-1 with 7 and a half minutes left, Bracknell's legs seemed to go, and they only just clung on for the two points. Goals from Reggie, Jeff, Colin and Shayne (2), saw Bracknell win, with Manchester's goals comin from Brebant, Miller, Wiklander and Morin. Once again, Bernie was man of the match (surprise, surprise), pulling off some fabulous saves.
In other news, Bracknell today announced a sponsorship deal with Virgin Cola, for a five figure sum. They have also been sponsored by wella (sponsors of the Bison), but it seems to just be a small deal.
Finally, Wayde Bucsis has left the Bees and returned to Norway, due to family problems. Because of this, Bracknell have been given a one month extension to the transfer deadline (until Jan 16th), to sign a replacement.
According to the Evening Post Jim said, "We didn't know until three or four days ago and we would have liked him to stay but this family matter must come first." He refused to rule out the possibillity that Wayde would be rejoining the Bees next season. Jim also revealed that a couple of his pre-deadline targets had found other clubs, but said, "I am continuing to look and I'm talking to a couple of guys but nothing's going to happen overnight."

Bracknell travelled to Newcastle last night, for the first part of a double-header, and were able to come away with both points. Goals from Tom Gomes (2), Jeff Johnstone and Reggie Crawford saw Bracknell wrap up the game. The opening period was scoreless, but then Bracknell went 3-0 clear. Chris Norton pulled one back for the Cobras in the third period, but Reggie finished off the scoring to ensure a Bracknell victory.
Bracknell now lie fifth in the league, above Cardiff, Basingstoke and Newcastle. They have a four point gap on the Bison, and a nine point gap on Newcastle, with a game in hand.
Tomorrow, Bracknell complete the double-header, with an away game in Ayr.

Hello, sorry for the lateness, I'm in Scotland at my girlfriend's.
OK, last Wednesday, I think, we played and drew the Storm 2-2 at home. We were 2-0 down, put pulled it back level with just three minutes to go. Then, on Saturday, we mgnificently beat Cardiff 4-1. Goals from Junkin and two from Dennis Burke, including an ENG with 8 seconds left, saw us walk all over lst year's league champions. There'll be more details on the Fixtures Page, after Christams. This still leaves us in sixth place, but we are now 3 points clear of the Bison, and 7 clear of the Cobras, with room to move further up.
We've certainly shown this year that we are not to be ignored anymore. Championship, anyone? :-)

It seems we have signed Derek DeCosty, last year's top scorer for the Guildford Flames. I'm afraid as yet I don't have any more info, so weshall just have to wait and see.

Again, sorry for the delay, my computer monitor has blown up.
Bracknell beat Ayr in the league at home on Saturday, winning 5-4 after Overtime. The victory moved them up to fifth in the table but a 3-1 defeat by Cardiff on sunday moved them back down to sixth. More details will appear here when I have them.
