Head Coach: Paul Heavy. Former captain of the Devils, he took over three years ago, when John Lawless left for Manchester. Won Coach of the Year in his first season, won the League in his second season and lost out to Ayr on an unfortunate deflected goal to lost the Play-off Final last season. He will hope to have Cardiff once again there or there abouts this year.
Home Form: Excellent. Although they no longer need just to turn up to win, they are still very hard to beat at home. The Furnace is a small rink and, when packed with 2,000 Welshmen, it can have an intimidating atmosphere.
Players to watch: Stevie Lyle has returned to the land of his fathers after trying his look in Canada. Still in his teens, the young Welsh goalie was voted Player of the Year two years ago. With the experiance he has gained in Canada, he could well live up to that reputation again. Doug McEwen has been consistantly brilliant for centuries, and should yet again earn his Cardiff nickname - God. Also up front, there are the two remaining members of the "Black Line", Ivan Matulik and Steve Thornton, both of whom should continue to provide excellent fire-power. Finally, in defence, there ois probably the opposition player I have most respect for in the ISL - Kip Noble. An excellent, stick-handling genius, this diminuitive d-man has been at the top of the BRitish game for a few years now, and should once again proviode entertainment the length and bredth of the land. You have to be impressed by him, even when he's dispossessing your forwards!
Kit: Cardiff's kit is made up of the Welsh national colours, red, white and green. The home kit is mostly white, with red details. The away strip is red, with white details. The shorts are green. Their logo is the "bust" of a red devil, sandwiched inside the "v" of Devils, on the front of the shirts. They are sponsored by British Telecom.

Here we go, here we go!
By train:
By Car: Heading in on the M4, take junction 33, and turn onto the A4232 towards Cardiff. After four exits, and a tunnel, the road ends at a roundabout. Turn left, then take the second exit at the next roundabout. Stay on this road (in the left lane) till you reach the T Junction, then turn left onto Bute Terrace. Get into the right hand lane, and turn right at the traffic lights just after the railway bridge. The rink should now be visable, next to the hotel.
Parking: There are no carparks at the rink, but there are several NCP car parks near by.
Nice Gaff?:A fairly standard smallish rink. Has benefited with the fitting of plexi glass around the sides (for which the WNIR now tries to call itself an arena!).
How much?:
Programme: Again, another glossy A5, this time priced at £1.50. However, there is not a great deal about the visiting team.
They all hate:Cardiff do not have any natural rivals, and therefore just tend to have annual rivals, depending on who they have been contesting the league with.
