Sorry, I missed them. I think both teams had two penalties each.

Notes:

Bernie was injured in a collision with Tony Hand, I think, so Brian Greer went into nets in about the 16th minute. Both teams seemed fairly even in attack, and Greer has apperently made two fantastic saves, both fairly soon after coming onto the ice. Sorry, I missed the goal, I was in the other room and didn't hear it.

2nd Period

Notes:

The puck was played to Rob Stewart by Joe Ferraccioli, Rob had plenty of space and struck it cleanly and put it top corner. 1-1. Bracknell scored with just 5 seconds of a powerplay left, after sustained pressure. Greg Burke had already missed a fantastic chance to score on a breakaway earlier in the period. Beaulieu scored after Hand had missed a great chance. Beaulieu picked up the loose puck, and scored on the wrap-around.

3rd Period

Notes:

Greg Burke was injured when Beaulieu dived to stop his shot at 41:36. I haven't heard his name again, so I assume he's not come back out. Cranston crossed the red line, found Allison, who let one go from the blue-line, to score. Whistle got the final deflection on the puck, after McCosh had brought the puck forward and taken the shot. Courtney had a good chance to win it, with only a few seconds left, but Rob Stewart, who was last man, made a good challenge to deny him.

Notes:

Scott Campbell and Rob Stewart both missed very good chances to score in the first minute. Both teams had plenty of chances to score, before Sheffield did in fact do that. Cranston won it unassisted, to ensuire bith points for Steelers, but Bees at least take a point from the game, make 3 from 3.
