Pacific Open final. It's said that Davenport
played really great. But Martina & her friend
Croatia's Mirjana Lucic beated Davenport &
Zvereva 7-5, 6-4 in the doubles final. |

crushed fourth seed Iva Majoli of Croatia 6-0,
6-2 in the semifinal match. It's their first
meeting since the 1997 French Open final, where
Majoli ended Martina's hopes of achieving a Grand
Slam. Martina will play No. 2 seed Lindsay
Davenport of the United States in Sunday's final. |

sharpness but still beat Rita Grande of Italy
6-2, 7-5 in the quarterfinal match. She will play
her former doubles partner Iva Majoli in the
