Spartan Football
The spartan football team consists of grade 9-12 students. The teams first home game was on Sept.22 @ 4:15. The spartans hosted Plenty Wildcats and defeated the team 68-0. The leading scorer was Chad #39, who scored 5 touchdowns. Ross had 2 touchtowns and a convert.
On Oct.13 the spartans hosted Elrose Eagles and beet them with a score of 77-0. Even in cold weather fans still came out to support the team with there easy win.
Winning is nothing new to the spartans, last year they were provincial champions and were undefeated throughout the year. The spartan team this year is just as strong and just as hard working. Good Luck Guys!!:) The spartans hosted Central Butte for Prov Quarter Finals last weekend. The spartans won, with a score of 58-8. The spartans automatically advanced after Plenty forfeited the league final Oct. 23. The coaches were upset because they thought the game would be a big one and bring in some big money. Oh well. This weekend will be another big game Eatona host Prov Semi's. If they win this game we will be able to host the FINALS!
