Jr. Girls Volleyball News!!
The Junior Girls have attended 3 tournaments so far. The first was at Maple Creek on September 18. The girls played in the semi-final and defeated Richmound. Then went on to the final to be defeated by Frontier. They came home with the silver medal. On September 25 the spartans hosted their home tournament, "Shindig 99". They beat Acadia Valley in the Semi-final, and went on to defeat Richmound in the final 2 sets to 0! At their latest tournament, October 2, they traveled to Eston. Eatonia was first in their pool and went to the final and defeated Kyle. The Juniors have also done well at League and have easily defeated Kindersley and Marengo. On October 6 the girls played Exhibition in Leader and defeated Leader 1 and 2. But failed to beat Abby. The Junior Girls attended a tournament at Oyen in October it was an exhibition tournament for Junior Varsity Teams (gr.10-11) but the team went anyway. We didn't make it to the final but had fun. We went to a tournament at Kindersley On Oct. 30. we played 14 sets before the game was done. We made it to the final and played Biggar but didn't win. We got this cool second place trophy.

The jr. Girls went to district, and played fairly well, however they did not make it to a final. The girls would like to thank their coaches, parents, and fans.
