This week:

Back handsprings.

Get your coach to spot you for backhandsprings on a soft crash mat until you are used to the way it feels.  Then, when you feel ready, try it by yourself on the soft mat. Do not be scared even if you fall you won't hurt yourself on the soft mat. once you can do it well on the soft mat try it on normal mats. Get somebody to spot you for the first few times if you want. Remember to keep your arms straight, push of with your feet and look for the ground as you are going backwards. Tell yourself that there is no way you can possibly hurt yourself and there isn't as long as you remember those things.
