BackWHO AM I?
1. I was the tiny, pigtailed gymnast of the 1972 Olympics. Becasue I fell from bars I didn't win the all around but I won many people hearts. I also competed in the 1976 Olympics.
2. I was the first gymanst to score a perfect 10 at the Olympics. I was discovered by Bela Karolyi in the playground pretending to be a famous gymnast.
3. I was one of only 4 people ever to beat Nadia Comaneci. But I injure myself doing a Thomas salto and have been in a wheelchair ever since.
4. I was the first American ever to win the Olympic all around. I have been on a Wheaties box.
5. I am America's most decorated gymnast. I recently got married.
6. I am the first American ever to be a World Champion. I am attempting a comebeack.
7. I was America's youngest ever National Champion at 13 years old. I was very popular and known for my smile. I won the Goodwill Games last year and then I took my father to court because of money problems.
8. I won the 96 olympic vaulting title and just about every other vault title there is to be won. I am also great in the All Around, though I normally place 2nd rather than 1st.
9. I was once thought to be too tall for gymnastics but now I am known for my long body lines, especially on uneven bars. I have a unique style of gymnastics that many people love but a lot of people hate.
10. I won the 1996 Olympic All Around. I am trying to make a comeback and hopefully will make it to the 2000 Olympics. I recently moved to the USA to train.
