Nobody had heard of Lubomir Moravcik when Celtic first signed him but after he made his debut Celtic knew they had a special player on their hands. Moravcik's best game in a Celtic shirt was on the 21/11/98 when he ripped Rangers apart and scored the first two goals in a 5-1 victory.
This season (1999/2000) Lubo has scored some brilliant goals for the Celts with the best one against Hibs in a 4-0 win
Moravcik has over 70 caps for the Czech and Solvakian National Teams, captaining Solvakia and reaching the quarter finals of the World Cup with the Czechs.
His contract expires in the summer and Celtic fans hope he stays with them for at least another season.
