HANDLING EXPECTED RUNS OF OUTS
Using mathematics we can predict fairly accurately the expected maximum losing bets in a row using the base strike rate for our method.
The Formula for calculating expected
Losing Sequences is:
1 divided by (Losing Strike Rate divided by 100) to the power of 'number of run
of outs'.
(Note: Losing Strike Rate is 100
minus the Win Strike Rate).
Example for a Strike Rate of 28% to see how often I should experience a sequence
of 14 losers in a row:
=1/(78/100)^14
=1/.78^14
=99.35
=99 (rounded)
Conclusion is every 99 Bets I may expect to see 14 losers in a row.
A Bank Size should be set to absorb this runs of outs with ease during 100
bets.
Which means for Win Betting I allow for 14 losses in a row an for Ratings Staker
I allow for 6 losses in a row.
Personally I set my Bank to this figure to absorb a run of double this amount
with to
avoid the bank going bust and minimize any times I have to top up my Wagering
Accounts.
Whilst the below Table Example may be frightening in ways, you should use them as a reference
for not panicking when experiencing an expected run of losses in a row. Also if
you are experiencing more runs of outs than expected it is a signal that your
Win Strike Rate is likely altered and your methods should perhaps be reassessed.
