"Rangers AFC Yearbook is an obvious labour of love by Jim Hawkey, compiled by records from Eric Adam. It is a statisticians delight, containing not just team lineups, goals and appearances for Rangers from 1998, but anything you could possibly want to know about Rangers, and plenty more as well. Did you know Garry Lund played 157 times for Rangers for 21 goals? It's as much an almanac as a yearbook, listing things such as fathers and sons who have played for Rangers, players who scored on senior debut, and even a graph showing the number of games per year Rangers have played since 1935.
"It's obviously heaven for Rangers fanatics and an example of what is possible from people who take their soccer seriously. For us non-Rangers readers perhaps it lacked the narrative to draw us into the web of club achievements, but nonetheless it is an amazing publication. I wish my club could manage the same.
