Biography: The Factor used to be corporate businessman Mike Bearclaw. When he got a hot stock tip he put all his money into the company--

Problem was the company was Atari. Mike took his last pennies and bought a gym in the ghetto and while he ran it he learned to fight. One day, when Snidlash's limo broke down he walked into the gym to use a phone. He told Mike that his place smelled like urine so Mike proceeded to beat the living daylights out of him.

Snidlash told him that the only way he wouldn't press charges and close down his place was if he joined the federation.

Mike then took on the name Factor and has had a grudge against Snidlash ever since.
