National Tournament Over for The Mighty Dawgs

A strong opponent coupled with very poor officiating brought the Mighty Dawgs tournament hopes to a disappointing end Friday morning. The Santa Fe Rebels defeated the Dawgs 6-0. The game was close at 2-0 when several calls benefitting the Rebels allowed them to widen their lead. Even casual spectators commented at the obvious disregard of rules and protocol displayed by the officials. The Mighty Dawgs' girls played hard until the end but the odds were too great.

The Dawgs end their tournament trip with a 1-3 record and their season with an impressive 59-11-1 record.
