1995- Indy Lights Champion (five consecutive wins, ten throughout the whole season, seven pole positions in 12 races, led 375 out of 583 laps, and completed all 847.799 miles)
1996- Moves to CART, drivers for Player's Forsythe Racing. Runner up for Jim Truman Rookie of the Year Award
1997- Wins the Miluakee Mile, making him youngest driver to win a CART race
1998- Youngest pole position winner (Homestead), and won two races (Rio de Janeiro and U.S 500)
1999- Dominates season opener in Homestead, Florida, one win (Homestead), one pole (Homestead), Fontana crash claims his life
