Two month has past since you lost your life in an accident but I still cannot believe that you were gone. I have been charmed with you becauce of your flank smile off track and also aggressive driving on track. I saw you in person at Motegi Twin Ring, Japan in 1998 and became much more charmed.I hoped I would see you again at Motegi next year. I have believed that you would be a CART champion someday, so I was utterly shocked when I heard the news. Goodbye Greg. You will be the Champion in the Heaven.

Over every other passion, i´m a F1 fan, but i often watch the CART series, because it´s so competitive. Almost every car there has a chance to win the race, so it´s up to the pilot to win. Greg was one of those pilots who would drive all the time at 100%. I was watching the race and i saw what happened and i must say that i felt my heart stopping when he crashed. I think that he and Gonzalo Rodriguez (the driver from Uruguay who died at Laguna Seca) were two of the greatest promises in car racing. I deeply regret their deaths.

My path had only crossed with Greg's a couple of different times, but from our brief times together, I know that he was a true gentleman. This is one of the reasons that he was my favorite driver, and I had been looking forward to possibly working with him on a team after I finish my schooling. The world has lost a great man, and racing has lost a great driver.

I stopped in at this site to read the tributes. They are still coming in, almost 2 months later. October 31st, my family and I were visting my parents so I videotaped the race so I could capture the championship battle. I had no idea that I would capture one of the saddest days in all of motorsports. I'm crushed. I still can't believe it's real. I cheered for Greg all the time. My condolances to the Moore family.

I am finally beginning to realize that Greg is really gone. It was truly like a dream for a while after the crash. When flipping through magazines, or watching any racing shows, I get a lump in my throat any time the Player's car flashes by. I suppose it will be like that for much of the 2000 season - I know it will be Tagliani and Carpentier in the cockpit, but I will forever think of Greg, flying around that track, showing them all who was boss.

Our memories will always have Greg Moore imblazed in them. His unselfhisness and love of life will live on in his sport but also in the world that has come to know and love this young man, durring his short life. He has inspired me ever since I first saw him race a year ago, and he still inspires me even now. God bless you Greg and your family whom has been so gracious and strong during this awful time.

It's a tragity whenever someone dies in racing, Greg will be missed and he died doing what he loved. Greg will live on in our hearts and in our thoughts He has inspired many even if he did not meet them.

Greg was one of those can't miss drivers i remember his rookie year I think it was watching the Rio and telling my dad that kid only 20 years old and is good. But Sunday Oct. 31, 1999 about 9:30 p.m. I got off work and was going to watch the race and was told before I started to watch the race that Greg was Killed just broke my heart. I always thought that Greg was a very clean driver and a good person. I will miss greg

To the nicest guy in the CART paddock, REST IN PEACE. You were the man. A true gentleman who always had time for everyone, while most of the other drivers let their ego go straight to their head.

when I seen Gregs crash I knew, I didn't want to think it I was still sitting there saying no even after I heard the official word even now a month later I still sit here say it can't be not Greg, and the questions how? and why? are still there always gonna be there even though I know that there will be no answer, and I can feel the pain of his familly and friend, cause Greg was my favorite when ever the though comes into my mind that I can't do something or it won't happen I just think well Greg became a pro and so if he can do it so can I, and with those words I say Greg buddy I know your up there watching us all, rest in peace Greg, rest in peace and win a race up there for all of us, I will be there to meet you someday buddy, WE MISS YOU "99"

I have been a race fan for 30 years and Greg was a great example of how a race driver should perform both on and off the track. All of Canada will miss him and we mourn the loss.

GREG MOORE WAS ONE OF THE BEST DRIVERS THAT CART EVER HAD. I STILL REMEMBER HOW ESTATIC I WAS WHEN HE CAME FROM BEHIND TO TAKE THE CHECKERED FLAG IN DETROIT '97. TO TUNE IN TO A CART RACE NEXT YEAR AND EVERY YEAR AFTER THAT AND NOT SEE HIS NAME ON THE STARTING GRID IS GOING TO BE DIFFICULT. MY HEART GOES OUT TO HIS FRIENDS & FAMILY.
