Run report No. 3002
extracted from our weekly newsletter

Date: 10-09-01

Run-site:Batu Arang Area
Hare: David Hirst
Co-hares: Colin Wan King, Nick Mason, Wolfgang and 1 more Qwailoh. (The Qwailohs are only learning too well from the Chinamen to use many co-hares – safety in numbers).

It was already almost 6pm and still couldn’t make out where the actual papers were. Paul Lai remarked that the papers must be across the road. Just took the chance and led the pack into a pine jungle area with thorny vines strewn all over the ground. Hit the first check and soon the call was to the right across a shiggy. Soon we were out onto a proper path and hit a side check into another thorny jungle. Rob Stott came doubling back and said that he said he saw a group of some 12 Chinamen squatting and worshipping some bees. Rumour was that the bees were as big as houses. Since, we were not so enthusiastic about being stung, Rob, Chris Tan, Freddy and I, decided to tuck in our tails and retrace our steps to the proper path. And we met, of all people the co-hare Nick doing his so-called sweep. He sneered,”Bullshit, it is not the bees you are worried about. You are just too lazy to cross the shiggy.”

We hit the home trail and there was Wolfgang doing his sweeping, too. He was quite concerned about John Duncan and asked if we have seen him? He mentioned that if John takes a wrong turn he will be off by 14 to 15 kilometres. Ach, vhat does zis Kraut know? Dis ist such a schmall area. How could anyone get lost in zis place, anyvay?

A Night to Remember” Starring John Duncan, Guinness Khoo, a mserable dog and Chris Beddows."

By 11pm, a search was organised. The search for three lost souls and 1 miserable dog continued through the night and into the wee hours of the morning. While we were searching, these three lost souls and that dog were already comfortably tucked in at 11pm and sound asleep up in them thar hills. They got up at 7am, after a good night’s sleep, and only then decided to find their way out. After a nice stroll, they finally got back to the run-site at 930am, with warm beers and roti canai to greet them for breakfast.

Luckily we had some retirees in our chapter who could stay the night and the morning – Rob, Kana, Desmond, Charlie, Ah Wah, Colin and David H. Just imagine the care and concern that must have pre-occupied their minds throughout the night, while these bastards and the dog were fast asleep.

Verdict: Good run in a small area - small enough to provide 1 night’s free lodging for our 4 longtime and experienced hashers, namely - Guinness, John, Booma and Chris Beddows.

Circle:

New members: None

Guests: Three differently sized but still look alike Qwailohs. Can’t seem to remember their difficult names.
On-cash: If you have a little money, pay your beer pledges. If you have more money pay your subs, also. If you have lots of money, lend it to your friends so they can pay their beer pledges – and may God be with you in your loan recovery.
Interhash-sec: Now that our Celebration is over, who cares about attending the other chapters’ celebrations? F….k off.
Bomoh: Ondowned the Mother Hash Orchestra (MHO) for playing “Mozart Looi’s” favourite funeral parlour music. They should play some lively, zippy Indian tunes, instead.
Wants to recommend Ted to buy one of them fancy, circular, copper cups that these MHO bastards keep doing their blow-jobs with. Good for doing our Ondowns.
On-on:
English fish n’ chips with American french fries and fried fish – cooked by Bull, paid for by the hares and co-hares. Kilkennys, that’s the way to go.
