Dolly Parton started her career as country singer but by the late seventies she had crossed over to pop music. Her song I'll always love you was a hit on both charts. She also had a number one hit with Kenny Rogers when the two got together to sing Barry Gibbs' song Islands in the Steam. Dolly signed this for me in 1989.
