- Corporate Interview to begin the show. Triple H
said that DX's music, attitude, everything was his. He then was talking about how he made every member in DX big, and they would of been nothing without him and Chyna. Two matches for Backlash - HHH vs X-Pac and Rock vs Austin (w/ Shane as guest ref).
- Tori vs. Jacqueline
Terri tried distracting Tori, and Jacki attacked her from behind. Jacki hit Tori with a big knee. Tori throws Jacki off the ropes, and gets Jacki in a sleeper hold. Terri comes in the ring to go after Tori. The ref stops the match. Jacki goes to the top rope
and does a big splash to Tori. Ivory comes in the ring, but Jacki
attacks her. Terri was about to burn Ivory with a cigar, but the ref takes the cigar away from Terri. Tori gets the win by dq.
- Val Venis vs. Steve Blackman
Venis delivers a big elbow to Blackman. He then gets Steve in a powerslam. Val nails the Money Shot to get the three count.
Venis wins by pin. Blackman gets up and drop kicks Venis from behind. He then just starts pounding on Venis with his Kendo sticks.
- Owen, Jarrett, and Debra came down to the ring. Jarrett and Owen issued a challenge to anyone that wanted to fight the tag team champions. The lights go out and Kane's music comes on. Kane comes in the ring from behind, and attacks both Owen and Jarrett.
They both jump out of the ring quickly. Jarrett grabbed the mic, and tells him they will see him later for the belts.
- Big Bossman vs. Droz
Bossman delivers a big bodyslam to Droz outside the ring. Bossman rips the nosering out of Droz, lots of blood. Bossman still hammers away on his nose. Bossman hits Droz with the
sidewalk slam to get the three count and the win.
- Jeff Jarrett & Owen Hart (w/ Debra) vs. Kane
Handicap Match
Kane beats up on both men for a while, until Jarrett brings out the guitar. The Ref gives Kane the win by DQ. Both men then begin to team up on Kane, but X-Pac comes out to make the save. Kane and X-Pac snd the champs running, and Kane gets ready to chokeslam X-Pac but he put him down.
