- Last Tuesday at a Raw Is War tapings in Grand Rapids (Michigan), the WWF officials did a little bit of "spring cleaning" as they informed several wrestlers that they would soon be released. Among the people being fired, there is Golga, Paul Ellering, Jim Cornette, Skull & 8-Ball (the Disciples of Apocalypse), the Legion of Doom, Public Enemy and Steve Blackman. The reason for their firing was not their lack of talent or ability, but simply because the WWF bookers no longer knew what to do with him. Steve Williams will also be released as he is not attracting any heat. Williams will be working his last house shows this week in Seattle, Calgary and Edmonton (Canada). Therefore, this will allow Jim Ross to return to his position as a commentator on Raw Is War.
- WWF training camp prospect Sean Stasiak will soon be brought on television. He will have a gimmick in which he will be a slave of PMS (Terri Runnels and Jacqueline).
- The WWF has recently invited Butterbean to sign a long term contract with the federation and maybe become a full-time wrestler when his boxing career is over. Butterbean has not yet responded to the offer.

- Trasher of the Headbangers will return in May to the ring after suffering an injured knee several months ago. It is rumoured that he will have an evil clown gimmick and his new manager will be Brother Love. It is not yet clear what the WWF intends to do with his partner Mosh.
- May's In Your House pay-per-view event will be subtitled Over the Edge, while July's In Your House event will be entitled Fully Loaded. Apparently, the WWF has decided to retake the names of last year's event.
- Vince McMahon wanted to let Val Venis join De-Generation to take Triple H's place but the current members of D-X refused to let Venis in for now.
- Last night on Heat, Shane McMahon dropped his European belt. Therefore, expect this title to disappear forever because there are too many title in the WWF. The European belt lost much of its appeal ever since the Hardcore title was introduced into the WWF.
- Originally, it was planned that Mankind would face Steve Austin for the world heavyweight title at In Your House:Backlash.
However, the bookers decided to replace him by the Rock because a rematch of Wrestlemania XV had more potential to attract a better buyrate. Therefore, Mankind will now likely undergo surgery to his knees.
- It is rumoured that the main event for the King of the Ring in June will be a match between Steve Austin and the Undertaker. Thus, expect Austin to at least keep his title until then.
- Marc Mero will return to the ring either next Monday on Raw live or Tuesday at the Raw tapings. He will likely team up with Sable to form a heel couple and help her fight against her enemies.
- Steve Blackman will completely turn heel very soon. This all began when he attacked Val Venis on Heat last Sunday. The WWF bookers want to give Blackman some kind of a push.
- Many rumours are stipulating that Bart Gunn has fought his last match at Wrestlemania XV. The WWF might release him since they no longer know that to do with him. If that happens, Gunn will then wrestle in Japan.
- Shawn Michaels will soon return to television on Raw Is War. He will be the new manager of De-Generation X and it is expected that he will quit his job of commissioner of the WWF.

- Expect Edge and Christian to leave the Ministry of Darkness and start up a feud with Gangrel. Christian may be booted from the Ministry of Darkness for telling Shamrock where Stephanie McMahon was on RAW.
- Rumors of Ken Shamrock working an angle where he 'slept' with his 'sister' Ryan are not true. Shamrock says that rumor 'is stupid sh*t from very stupid people'.
- It's being rumored that Kurt Angle has signed a 5-year deal with the WWF.
- According to "The John Boy and Billy Big Show" at www.thebigshow.com. Shawn Michaels is set to marry former Nitro girl Whisper. Mean Gene Okerlund did his usual Tuesday morning call into the show. Following up on the news he announced from last week (that they were engaged), Okerlund stated that the wedding of Shawn Michaels and Whisper "could be as early as this Thursday in Vegas." - Dave Meltzer reports the WWF will be airing there womens show on the UPN Network. If the deal falls through it should make its debut around September. Jim Ross, Bruce Brichard, and Rick Bassman held a casting call about two weeks ago with women bodybuilders, fitness women, stunt women, martial arts women, and powerlifters. The WWF will bring in about eight women from the casting call, along with the current WWF women and ones that were just signed (or will be) such as Shannon Hall, Trish Stratus, and Nicole Bass. Hall worked in the Training Camp last week and is a former Amercian Gladiator, stripper, woman boxer, and did one episode of Roller Jam on TNN (her father was a professional wrestler). Ryan Shamrock has also been in the camp, because WWF wants her to learn how to at least take bumps. Nicole Bass is also in the camp.
