MATCH REPORT |
|
|
|
Well the result speaks for itself, doesn't it?
Leeds came to win the game and to intimidate us and to be honest we never took the bait and with a genuine goalscorer upfront we would have killed Leeds off in the first half.
Leeds players seemed to have problems with their footing as they spent most of the time on the ground play acting and trying to con the diaboloical ref Winter, notably Kewell who fell down all to often, with Chants of "CHEAT , CHEAT" and "Oh Harry Kewell is a cheating aresole, is a cheating arsesole" reverberating around the ground he thorougly deserved it.
The start of the 2nd period had bad omens when Hogh replaced Desailly who appeared to have injured his shoulder in the first half and Leeds quickly siezed the chance and began to look very dangerous.
Things got even worse when are 2nd centre back departed with Hogh being stretchered off with a leg injury.
Vialli had no alternative but to put Sutton back to fill the gap in defence alongside Albert.
Leeds wasted no time in seizing the opportunity and scored a scrappy goal gainst the run of play by McPhail
With sub Zola partnering Poyet upfront, we began to look dangerous again, but if we did, Leboeuf soon put paid to that, when after tripping Kewell and completly loosing his head, stamped on him and was quickly shown the red card by Ref Jeff Winter.
This arrogant french bastard is becoming a liability to Chelsea and left the field to a torrent of abuse by the Loyal Chelsea fans who pay his bloody wages.
His departure left a amazing back three of Sutton, Ferrer, Petrescu, and effectively the game was over.
Leeds completed a miserable afternoon for all Chelsea fans when McPhail scored a second goal from a free kick.
The reasons why we lost this game :
"How do expirienced players loose their composure so easily"
"We need a striker who can hit the back of the net urgently"
"LEBOEUF"
Sorry Luca you have lost the plot
