MATCH REPORT |
|
|
|
This game surely says goodbye to any chance of winning the Premiership this season.
With Arsenal winning and Manure too, sadly this is the end of the road for Chelsea in the Premiership this season.
There are many questions now to be asked of Vialli, his methods and tactics etc.
I am not interested in hearing very lame excuses for the performance we gave at Goodison Park.
You have to ask yourself why Ambrosetti pulls a hamstring after 20 seconds of the game after supposedly warming up prior to the kick off.
The game was for the best, one-way traffic with Chelsea on the back foot right through the match.
We were guilty of giving the ball too many times, and Leboeuf in particular was absolutely rubbish and was clearly at fault for Campbell's goal.
Flo looked sharp early on when he missed a one on one with the goalkeeper and also had a chance with a easy header that he managed to head straight at the goalkeeper.
To Di Matteo's credit he done well in a unfamilliar position to cover the hole left by Ambrosetti and done a lot better then Deschamps who seems to be struggling with the pace of the Premiership.
The 2nd half started in the same vein as the 1st and to cap a dreadfull afternoon for Chelsea that idiot Leboeuf got sent off for a stupid, vicious takle on Barmby and the Ref had no alternative but to send the "French prima donna off"
We need to offload this garlic cruncher urgently, he is too bigheaded and is clearly a liability.
Cue Sutton going into defence alongside Dessa and Zola coming on from the bench, does that ring true, sutton in defence?
Well considering that he dont look like scoring in a million years he might as well play there.
Undeservedly in injury time Flo equalised to give us the point we never deserved.
The only player who looked good in this debacle of a performance was Albert Ferrer.
You only have to see the body language of the players to see something is dreadfully wrong in the camp.
We need to sign a few players very quickly otherwise I see Nationwide on the horizon, and make the best of Europe because at this rate we will struggle to get into even the top five this season and Europe just a dream
Bye Bye Mr Vialli
Im totally pissed off
