Bernard has finally had his hernia repaired, the operation went well and has been doing some pre-season work with a French club before reporting back to Chelsea, in addition he has picked up a knee injury which has prevented him from training through pre-season, he has a lot of work to catch up on until he can be available for selection

Bernard injury is getting better he can now twist and turn , kick a ball without pain and is nearly over the knee injury
