Sunderland's Stadium of Light is suppose to be a fantastic stadium, and as they are newly promoted to the Premiership this season 99-2000, we have not visited the stadium yet. We will give you a report when we visit the ground this season, it must be a thousand times better than their old home at Roker Park.

How to get there

FROM THE SOUTH Exit the A1 at Junction 64, signposted to Washington, Birtley A195. get onto the Western Highway, at the roundabout, after 1 and half miles, follow the signs for Sunderland A1231 on the Washington Highway. Take the second exit for the A1231 and follow the road for 4 and half miles, heading for the City Cente. Follow the signs for the Queens Road B1289 and turn right at the roundabout, follow the signs for The Stadium Of Light.
