CHELSEA SIGN THOME

Chelsea have signed Central Defender Emerson Thome for £2.5 Million from Sheffield Wednesday on a 4 and a half year deal.

The highly rated Brazilian has been snapped up due to the injuries of Marcel Desailly and Jes Hogh and the suspension of Frank Leboeuf.

Thome who's nickname is "The Wall" will be a usefull addition to the squad and is sure to be thrown straight into the affray at the Dell on Boxing Day.

He already has Premiership expirience and will need no "Blooding in"
