• A German tourist's trip on the Bay Express on 5 December 1998  (Four pages of views the train's route between Napier and Wellington, although all are taken from the bus that was filling in that day. This trip came six weeks after the Milk Train's two locos hit a slip and went over the side into the Manawatu Gorge [on 21/10/1998] and sometimes when work was underway to retrieve the bottom loco - which took weeks - other trains couldn't use the route. We ORPG women have news for you. We aren't getting into that vat - with or without petticoats. Besides, no-one named our shunter the 'Ormondville Cannonball,' the pub's called the Settler's Arms, not the Shady Rest, the local store's no longer open any hours and the canine 'regulars' are the wrong colours. Also check out California State Railroad Museum, where the much viewed on TV and films Loco No. 3 (built 1891), formerly the 'Hooterville Cannonball,' now resides.
