Welcome to my CSC 110 class page! My Name is Jeffrey Combs and I am a Senior at EKU. My Major is History and I am Minoring in Appalachian Studies. Currently I am working on a collection of folk tales centering around my grandfather and life in the coal counties in the 1920's. I am also involved in protesting mountain top removal and finding new and better ways to mine Kentucky's coal.
I came to be in CSC 110 to fill out my summer hours as well as hoping to brush up on my basics and learn a thing or two. I am not a hardcore internet/computer person but not to give away my age, I leanred computers on an old Apple computer with the green screen! So I have been around awhile.
A few things I want to get done this summer are:
- Get used to getting up early again for next semester!
- Try to collect 10 more folk stories.
- Loose 20 or so pounds.
- Get through these two summer classes!
