Nothing could be better than a football road trip with your buddies... and if your team wins too, nothing could be better... well, unless you meet up with more guys who are willing to share a ton of cigars wth you and party all night, that could be better... but then maybe meeting the most drop dea, gorgeous woman in an Albany bar and... well, that was the best part... I just wish I could make the trip to Tampa! And to the beautiful woman in Section 106 up in Albany, I can't wait 'til next year -- Red Dog Helmet Head

Arenaball is what pro sports ought to be, Entertainment!!!, Entertainment!!!, Entertainment!!! It's much easier for a blue collar worker like me to identify with a pro player that makes $1,000 instead of $50,000 a game. And besides, I've tried to get an autograph for my kids from "Pro" players, what a joke!!! At least the Arena League knows that the fans pay the bills, so they cater to us, the fans. My kids have enjoyed staying after the game for an hour or two gathering autographs. And then I have to drive home for two hours, but I'll do that for my kids - J Osborn |

The Dawggies are putting a snarl in their woof. They've picked up OL/DL Ralph Jarvis and WR/LB Alex Shell, amongst others, in recent trades. Jarvis has monster physical talents but need one of two things to success in the Meadowlands: complete lattitude to express himself or a very short leash. Shell is a Wagner clone who has shown flashes of brilliance in the past. Last year with Florida he had one or two huge games. I believe he was hurt for part of the season. NJ's trade for Shell reminds me a little of Orlando's acquisition of Bruce LaSane two years ago. LaSane, too, had overlooked all-star status. The Big O picked him up for a song after he went undrafted in the dispersal that followed the demise of the deathless Minnesota Fighting Pike. Trades like this are usually either wildly successful or wildly... well... unsuccessful. This is a different mutt. I'm keeping my eye on NJ. -- Mike Cahill

Nineteen dollars for a kids season ticket?! Are you kidding me? Whomever came up with that plan is a genius! You can't get a pizza for what it costs to take BOTH of my kids to a Red Dogs game! I went out and got eight season tickets from my wife, two kids, parents, my brother-in-law and my nephew! -- Bruce D.

Growing up an NFL freak, I would actually get depresed starting in January and ending in August. I tried the USFL and WLAF, but it didn't last... Then came the NJ Red Dogs! I got season tickets in 1997 expecting little and got a lot! Now I live for Arena Football from April to August and set a little depressed in September. I does take a few weeks to get used to the NFL after the fast-paced Arena Ball -- Bill Gates
