March 4, 2002- The Cowboys and the Raiders completed another deal today. The Cowboys gave Oakland, Troy Hambrick and the 6th round pikc that they acquired from Atlanta. They received LOLB Eric Barton and Oakland's 5th round pick. Russ said " This move gives us a LOLB for this year and the future. Troy was a big part of this team but with the acqusition of Carter, we felt Troy would get a better opportuinity someplace else"
March 4, 2002- The Cowboys completed another trade with Denver today and acquired a top Fullback. The Cowboys gave the Bronco's DE Dwayne Missouri and gave the SS Kenoy Kennedy who had just been trade from the Bronco's 1 week ago. The Cowboys also gave Denver a 3rd round pick. In return the Cowboys recieved FB Tony Carter and a 4th round pick. Russ said "This move helps our FB position tremendously. We are very happy with the acqusition of Carter" Carter will be the likely starter in Dallas. |
