Fila Track West sent three men's marathoners to Grandma's Marathon in Duluth, Minnesota. The most exciting result was Danny Martinez's qualifying for the 2000 Olympic Trials with his 15th place finish in 2:19:20. Tim Berger was 65th in 2:38:06. Unfortunately, David Olds was hit by the flu and DNFed around the 17 Mile mark.
In other news, several team members have busied themeselves racing on the CanAm High Performance track circuit on the East Coast... great job guys!
Last but not least, a shout out to "almost-weds" Gus Harper and Kristin Von Teuber... we hope July 31st is the beginning of a beautiful marriage! We know it will be!
