ABOUT THE TEAM.....

The UGH RED ARMY is a very competitive boys u14 team from the Philadelphia area. The team is currently competeing in the Mid Atlantic Premier Soccer League (MAPS).

The RED ARMY is 5-3-2 in the league and 12-6-2 overall in the 03-04 season.
ABOUT THE CLUB.....

The United German Hungarian Club, originally known as the Banater Mannerchor, was formed in 1910. In 1922, the Banater Athletic Club was organized and even in the early years, soccer teams made great strides. 1939 saw the club officiasly change its name to The United German Hungarian Club.

Over the years, senior and youth teams have won many championships at the local, state, regional and national level. The Club has played host to numerous regional and national championship finals at its lighted complex in Oakford, PA just outside Philadelphia. In 1965, UGH  won the United States Amateur Soccer Association Open Cup in a thrilling game held at the Club. The amateurs repeated the feat again in 1999, becoming the last Open Cup champions of the 20th century!
