The Jewels of the Nile is a wonderfully unique South African belly-dancing studio, one of the largest in the country and certainly the most celebrated! It has been operational since 1998 and offers belly dancing classes and performances.
 
Owner, Charlotte Blignaut, is an internationally trained teacher and choreographer. In October 2000, Charlotte and three of the Jewels won two gold medals and a trophy at the World Performing Arts Championships in Los Angeles. More recently, in March 2002, she returned from Egypt having received intensive training with the best dancers in Cairo.
