 1995 Report

The batting on occasions was solid again featuring the exploits of P Gardner --- runs at --. -- plus the equally valuable contribution of R Ings --- at --. --. An established opening partner ship of Gardner and M Heslington gave the batting a sound base with Heslington scoring --- runs at --. --.

On the bowling front no bowler achieved 25 wickets, but this does not detract from their consistency. C Rowland with – wickets at --. --, M Heslingrton – wickets at --. -- and P Fearon – wickets at --. --.

There were no notable fielding performances this season though for the first time a wicketkeeper, Gardner, won the Fielder of the Year award.

Finally, the performance of the year went to the Lichfield Nomads team that defeated Glebelands this summer. Our side achieved a result reversal that made every Nomad happy that night.
