Nomads win opening 2007 fixture.

The Nomads won by 6 wickets at Swynnerton in a timed match. Swynnerton declared on 180 after 38 overs just before tea. Steve George and Ian Hughes bowled well, slowing down the runs per over in mid innings. Nomads started well with Dan Moss, 27, and Pete Gardner followed by Richard who was run out when Malcolm refused a run when Richard was halfway down the wicket. Malcolm went on to hold the innings together finishing on 48*. Young Dan scored the winning runs in an innings of lusty misses and the occasional four. Overall good team performance. PB finding it difficult to select next weeks team as we have plenty who deserve a game and some he can't drop
